Special Issue of Energy Strategy Reviews (Elsevier)

Modelling clean energy pathways - Output from the Energy Modelling Platform for Europe (EMP-E) 2018

This Special Issue collects contributions on themes to be discussed at the EMP-E 2018. It constitutes a peer-reviewed digest of models, approaches and policy insights for the assessment of Clean energy pathways for the EU energy system vis-à-vis the Energy Union strategy. The content of the Special Issue will cover three key themes, in line with the three themes of the EMP-E 2018:
  • Innovation in the energy transition;
  • Integrated modelling of energy and resource efficiency;
  • Modelling of aspects of energy consumption behaviour.
Contributions are welcome on either of the three themes, providing methodological overviews or model applications, with related policy-relevant insights. Submissions authored or co-authored by participants of the EMP-E 2018 Conference will be treated preferentially.

You may find a downloadable version of the Call for contributions here.
